I spent my first life in New Zealand but now call beautiful Berry in rural New South Wales home. I live on 4 acres with one patient husband, one grown son and one very naughty little dog called Scout.
I’ve always wanted to be a writer but tried everything else first. I’ve been a teacher, a ship’s cook, a ticket seller and an advertising person paid to spend other people’s money. I like being a writer best.
I write in two romance genres: historical and romantic suspense. I prefer historical and am particularly drawn to that early medieval period, when powerful Lairds ruled castles and young lassies needed to be strong, sassy and resourceful to survive. I plan to write a lot more of those.
I won an award from The Society of Women Writers, WA and slogged away at a writing degree from Southern Cross University.
The Outcasts, published by Soul Mate Publishing, is my first novella. Then I wrote, I Will Not Run , a romantic suspense novel set in rural Australia. My first Scottish Highlander romance will be published in the middle of the year, again with Soul Mate Publishing. It’s called, Hemlock and Honey.
